Shared Horizons: Mural Sketching Workshop
Have you noticed murals in your neighborhood? As artistic canvases that redefine culture and reaffirm identity, murals showcase folklore and shared memories, give visual presence to diverse individuals and communities, and much more. What would you put in a mural illustrating your life, your community, and your interests? Join us to exchange ideas and create a sketch of your own mural with colored pencils! The workshop will begin with a short discussion about some murals found in Quebec City. This activity is open to everyone. No prior experience is required and materials will be provided. The activity will be hosted in English by a member of the Morrin Centre team. This activity is presented as part of the Shared Horizons - Visual Arts and Cultures project, made possible thanks to the financial support of the Government of Canada.
