Vieille Jeunesse is Will Murphy's first stand-up hour. At only 27 years old, he's already taking stock… as if he were 45. In this work-in-progress show, Will alternates personal anecdotes and everyday observations, recounting his achievements, his contradictions, and this strange feeling of aging too quickly. It's a well-punched, rhythmic, effective hour, inspired by American stand-up, but carried by a profoundly Quebecois chorus. After four years of performing on stages and doing numerous shows, Will Murphy finally presents his first hour: honest, confident, and above all, very funny. Vieille Jeunesse is the youth that already complains about their back… and does it well.
