Véronique Isabel-Fillion in Rehearsal
Le Saint-Jean Comédie Club
A graduate of the École nationale de l’humour in 2018, Véronique Isabel Filion stands out with her endearing, unique personality and her finely written jokes. Excelling in “absurd-naughty-engaged-raw” humor (a category unique to her), Véronique likes to tackle sensitive subjects with candor and authenticity, without neglecting the embarrassing experiences that inhabit her daily life. In 2021, Véronique stood out with her appearance on season 2 of the show “Le prochain stand-up.” The following year, she participated in her first Juste pour rire gala hosted by Rosalie Vaillancourt. Véronique became better known thanks to her podcast “Poules mouillées,” co-hosted with Jessica Chartrand. They invite guests to discuss fears with humor and lightness. It was in 2023 that Véronique presented her first 60-minute joke show… all by herself! Since then, Véronique has been seen as the opening act for talented comedians such as Rosalie Vaillancourt, Mike Ward, Adib Alkhalidey, and Antoni Remillard. In 2025, she received a nomination in the “Comedy Number of the Year” category at the Gala les Olivier awards for her number “Somnambule,” which she presented at Korine Côté’s ComediHa! gala.
