Let's Eat! Food Solidarity in St-Roch

Despite the efforts already made, food needs are growing in St-Roch. With the significant increase in the cost of groceries and housing, demand in food resources has exploded in recent years. Faced with this reality, several citizens, businesses and companies, cultural and community groups, as well as representatives from institutional sectors have expressed a desire to get involved in solidarity actions, without knowing how or where to start. To respond to this desire for involvement and to growing food needs - with the aim of strengthening existing initiatives - the and are launching a food solidarity project: À table! Food Solidarity in St-Roch. Thus, the Gabrielle-Roy library is happy to collaborate on this project. Because no one should go hungry: this summer, let's get organized! Come join citizens who want to get involved by preparing dishes that will be distributed in the neighborhood! See you in the kitchen area of the Gabrielle-Roy library. The preparation and facilitation of the workshops are offered by Les Greniers Agricoles de Québec and the Centre Jacques-Cartier.
