Quebec | Dance CRi, aka Christophe Dubé, is a significant player on the Montreal electronic scene with his distinctive sonic palette characterized by pulsing house synths, complex syncopated snares, and avant-garde basslines. As a self-taught individual who dropped out of his studies, CRi made a name for himself with his EPs Tell Her and Someone Else on Young Art, TOKiMONSTA's label. He broke through in 2018 with a Juno nomination and the release of the mini-EP Me and My Friends. Signed to Anjunadeep in 2019, his first album, Juvenile (2021), solidified his position on the Montreal scene as he became the first electronic music artist to win Revelation of the Year at L'ADISQ and to headline the main stage of the prestigious Montreal International Jazz Festival. With the warm reception of his second album Miracles in 2023, CRi is embarking on a North American tour and continues to gain growing recognition both in Canada and internationally. He has notably collaborated with artists such as Charlotte Cardin, Bob Moses, Half Moon Run, and Daniel Belanger.
