Qualité Motel
Baie de Beauport
Sherbrooke | électro Qualité Motel is a party machine operated by the guys from Valaire, a musical and recreational vehicle that oscillates between DJ sets, remixes, and mash-ups of Top 40 hits and original compositions, all as fiery as a dragon's shirt. Live shows reject the notion of guilty pleasure because fun is fun all the time. On record, they celebrate our precious Quebecois star system by inviting the stars we love to sing over electro-pop productions. Their extensive past has led them to collaborate with artists like Mitsou, Elisapie, Karim Ouellet, Marie-Élaine Thibert in a duet with Fanny Bloom (!), and notably Koriass and Christian Bégin on the hit "Basilic." In short: fun. And this has been the case for about fifteen years. Following the albums "Motel Califorña" (2012) and "C'est pas la qualité qui compte" (2018), and the EPs "C'est la quantité qui compte" (2020) and "Les plus grands duos francophones de l'année" (2022), they are preparing to unveil "Clé en main," a third full-length album that will get your engine started with big doses of 90s/early 00s dance, featuring collaborations with Muzion, Boogát, Marie-Pierre Arthur, Rose Perron, and SeinsSucrer.
