Opera Circuit
The Opera Circuit is a walking tour through the heart of downtown Quebec City that highlights the city's musical, historical, and architectural heritage through lyric art. The 2026 edition will invite the public to (re)discover several emblematic religious heritage sites, whose history is intimately linked to the rise of the lyrical repertoire. Over the eras, these spaces have hosted numerous performers who have contributed to the radiance of this art form. The tour will take place outdoors, while the musical performances will come to life inside these heritage sites. At each station, participants will be treated to short performances of opera, operetta, or melodies, performed by lyrical artists accompanied by instrumentalists, offering an immersive experience where heritage and music meet. From July 21 to 31, between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., short performances by Priscilla-Ann, contralto, and Marie-Hélène Greffard, organist, will be offered in the choir of the Augustines.
