Family Tales and Coffee
Bibliothèque Monique-Corriveau
Meetings in a simple setting for parents and their children. These meetings offer a moment for exchange and listening among parents from diverse backgrounds, accompanied by their children aged 0 to 5. Each session begins with an early literacy activity (stories, songs, rhymes) for the little ones. Afterwards, parents are offered a short break: they can chat freely over coffee while the children are looked after by a facilitator. A snack will be served. These moments aim to foster intercultural dialogue, strengthen bonds between families in the neighborhood, and support the overall development of children in a warm and friendly environment. Facilitated by Hou Mou Guiro, in collaboration with the perinatal reference service for immigrant women in Quebec. This activity is made possible by the financial participation of the Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration of Quebec.
