In Our Eyes: Visual Storytelling and Spoken Word Workshop
Come explore the relationship between visuals, memory, emotion, and voice with Acha Divine Patandjila! Through carefully selected photographs, participants are invited to a creative space where observation turns into reflection, and reflection into expression. Combining photography presentation, discussion, writing, and performance, this workshop creates an immersive and warm environment focused on creativity, participation, and human connection. The session combines visual arts and spoken word within a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach, divided into three parts: 1) Presentation of photographs and discussion 2) Writing prompts and tips for oral performance 3) Sharing of creations by participants. This activity will be presented in English. This activity is presented as part of the Shared Horizons – Visual Arts and Cultures project, made possible by the financial support of the Government of Canada.
