Workshop: Stone Sculpture
As a complement to the exhibition ÉCHO DE LA MATIÈRE, the Centre Materia offers a mediation and creation workshop every Saturday, led by a duo of artists, each combining their respective practices in a creative and playful activity. Discover the basics of soapstone sculpture during this introductory workshop accessible to beginners. Using files and simple tools, participants will shape their own creation while exploring the fundamental techniques of stone carving. With artists Gabriel Gendron Macias and Laurence Talbot. These mediation activities are made possible thanks to the contribution of the Ville de Québec (Cultural Development Agreement).
