Isabelle Demers creates a teeming universe composed of animals and abundant vegetation. Through the way she composes her scenes, the artist invites us to imagine the stories that could unfold there. A tension, however, inhabits her works, suspended between action and immobility. Working with engraving, ceramics, watercolor, and pyrography, Isabelle Demers multiplies the ways to capture these history-laden moments.
