The Hilton Garden
This summer, participate in a series of urban gardening workshops led by Craque-Bitume at the Parvis de l’Église SJB and the Hilton Garden. Offered from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., these free workshops will allow citizens to discover different facets of urban gardening in a friendly, accessible, and educational atmosphere. Throughout the season, several themes will be addressed to support participants in the maintenance and development of their urban crops: Sunday, June 28 Tips and tricks for urban gardening and container gardening Sunday, July 26 Mid-season maintenance: weeding, green waste management, plant care, and methods to support urban biodiversity Sunday, August 23 Compost and soil amendments, with the possibility of a visit to a community composting site Sunday, September 20 Garden closing, harvesting, and seed saving A great opportunity to learn more about ecological practices, develop your food autonomy, and enjoy the summer in community.
