Dive into the unique universe of Pierre Verville with Pour une dernière voix, a solo show mixing humor and impersonations, oscillating between fiction and reality. Because Pierre, in his magnificent insomnia-induced delirium, imagines himself on stage as a radio host recounting his own life, while his audience is there, in the room, right in front of him… Through his evocations, Pierre revisits his childhood memories and his eventful career, brilliantly embodying key figures of Quebec culture. This is his farewell to the solo stage. Co-written with Pierre-Michel Tremblay, Pour une dernière voix offers a journey from the 1960s to today, featuring François Legault, Michel Tremblay, Luc Plamondon, Robert Charlebois, and many others. A tender and humorous show, where Pierre Verville's personal journey is intertwined with our collective history. He is accompanied on stage by musician Nadine Turbide. Present on the cultural scene for over 40 years – he started at Les Lundis des ha ha! in 1983 – the comedian and actor has a significant background and intends to draw from it gleefully for the creation of this final show. Pierre Verville was one of the stars of the radio show À la semaine prochaine, which just ended after 17 seasons on Radio-Canada. He also lends his face to Marc Duchesne in the series Ravages, broadcast on Illico, and he was warmly acclaimed this summer at Véronique Claveau's gala at the Juste pour rire Québec festival.
