Sandrine Masse
Palais Montcalm
Sandrine Masse began her career as a classically trained violist. Her love for folk, progressive rock, and traditional music led her to lend her viola playing and voice to musical groups of diverse styles, composed of artists from around the world. Winner of the Karim Ouellet Prize (2025), a graduate of the École nationale de la chanson (ENC), and winner of the First Prize and Audience Choice Award at the Chante en français competition, Sandrine released her first EP, L’ours noir, in 2022. Her first album, Là où la terre est, was released in 2024, paying homage to her ancestral lands through folk music with ambient sounds.
