Gabriel Fredette is an emerging artist who stands out with his warm, gravelly voice and a musical universe navigating between folk and francophone pop. Revealed to the general public during his participation in La Voix in 2024, he quickly made an impression with his single Tant qu’on est toi et moi, which reached number 1 on the Mediabase Top 100 chart for 13 weeks, an achievement recognized with a SOCAN award. The song now has over 5.3 million streams. A sensitive and authentic singer-songwriter, Gabriel distinguishes himself with sincere, emotional lyrics, carried by catchy melodies. His latest song, Le Signal, surpassed 100,000 streams in just 48 hours, confirming the growing public enthusiasm. In parallel to his solo career, Gabriel is a member of the collective Classe moyenne, a project that now has over 27 million streams and will tour Quebec with over 70 shows in 2026, including the On est là tour. On April 10, Gabriel Fredette will release his first solo album, also available in physical format. He then plans to connect with the public on his first solo tour starting in the fall of 2026, marking a new important step in the career of this rising voice in francophone music. Opening act on January 14, 2027: Olivier Couture Through sincere writing and melodies rooted in reality, Olivier Couture explores the unpredictable rhythms of life. Following the release of his mini-album Au cycle des saisons last June, the artist now offers the EP Ciel d’automne, to be released on October 3. This new song, bearing the same title, was born from a dark chapter in his life. It comes from a text that saw the light of day several years ago. Written with hindsight, it expresses the strength that can emerge from hardship and marks an important step in his personal and artistic journey. As he confides: "It's probably the most honest text I've ever written." In 2025, Olivier returns in full force with a new creative breath. His song Tout ce que je dis, written for his daughter, reveals tender and luminous benevolence. In the same vein, he presents the mini-album Au cycle des saisons, a project exploring fatherhood, the passage of time, and love in all its forms. It includes Ma blonde, which has touched the hearts of many couples. Olivier Couture first honed his skills on the stages of cabarets and festivals across Quebec for several years, before turning to a career as a singer-songwriter. After exploring 60s French pop with his first album released in 2018, he had the opportunity to travel in France, British Columbia, and across Quebec to share his songs. Three EPs followed, accompanied by several singles.
