Unïdsounds & Le Centre: Hub Créatif presents FilliE
FilliE is the emerging alternative pop project of Philippe Durand, who is the author, performer, and co-composer with Gabriel Lapointe. Inspired by the literalness of slam, and great Quebec artists of the 1990s-2000s like Jean Leloup and Avec pas d’casque, FilliE oscillates between the insolence of pop and the sincerity of hip-hop. With its naive and colorful lexicon, he confronts the passage to adulthood by delving into the intimacy of everyday life.
