Harvest and transformation concludes the gardening season at the Grand Marché de Québec on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The activity, offered as part of the Urban Agriculture Education Center, demonstrates simple methods for preserving vegetables after harvesting: freezing, canning, and drying. Admission is free and the day takes place rain or shine, inside the covered market at 220, boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel.
