L'elisir d'amore
Chapelle du Séminaire de Québec
It is the story of a seductive promise that turns into an illusion. As a fake elixir circulates, certainties crumble and power dynamics shift where least expected. A lively and lucid comedy, where naivety becomes a strength and where emotion arises from the twists and turns of the game. A production by the Institut canadien d’art vocal (ICAV), presented by Tempêtes et Passions. With intermission. Animation and staging: Nathalie Choquette. Musical direction: Simon Charrette. With Odéi Kisis-Bergeron, Antonio Figueroa and Alexandre Sylvestre.
