Project Refectory – Short Film Screening Evening
This activity is part of the Réfectoire project, a collaboration between Folie/Culture and Le Monastère des Augustines. Through three free activities presented between August and October 2026, Réfectoire invites the public to explore different ways of weaving links between heritage, culture, and contemporary realities. The activities address, among other things, the notions of care, resilience, transmission, collective memory, and living together. During this evening, the public is invited to watch a selection of short films addressing various themes related to aging, caregiving, and care. The activity will begin with a short introductory visit of the permanent exhibition Résonances. Between them and us, an immersion into the history of the place and the community that inhabits it. Then, through a diversity of artistic and sensitive approaches, the presented short films will open a space for reflection on ways to care for oneself, for others, and for our communities. After the screening, the public will be invited to freely revisit the exhibition, thus drawing personal connections between the works viewed and the heritage that surrounds them. ** Free activity. Limited places. Registration recommended.
