Constellations - The Serious Improv Show
Théâtre Périscope
What is "serious improv"? This new term proposes an aesthetic, a state of mind, a realistic and embodied state of play. Laughter and humor arise from a detail, a situation, and intertwine with the tragic. With Constellations – the serious improv show, La Chaumière overturns the current paradigm in improvisation in Quebec to first seek the creation of coherent stories and sensitive acting. Constellations invites itself into the heart of the spectators by creating that unique feeling of being together, in the present, amazed by the magic of spontaneous invention, by the power of improvisation.
