On Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3 PM, the Moulin des Jésuites de Charlesbourg offers children aged 6 to 12 a cinnamon bread making workshop: they will learn how flour is made and what the villagers of Trait-Carré ate during the New France era, then they will go up to the third floor of the mill to prepare their bread, to bake at home. Price: $9.20 per participant, online reservation required. The workshop takes place rain or shine (sources: moulindesjesuites.org and Québec animée, consulted on September 7, 2026). The workshop is also offered on Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 10, at the same times. Until October, work is being done on the Mill's gardens; parking and neighboring streets remain accessible, according to the Mill.
