Katarina invites you to explore the fascinating world of linocut printing on fabric with a 4-hour introductory workshop, specially designed to guide you through all the steps of this artisanal printing technique. From creating the design to the final print, including carving and inking, you will learn to master each stage of the process to print on your own textiles. Linocut is a "relief printing" technique, which involves removing all the parts of the linoleum plate that you do not wish to print. Ink is then applied to the raised areas using a roller, and the design is transferred by pressure with a spoon, a baren, or a press.
