Resonance V at Parc Victoria: Free Brass Concert
Parc Victoria
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., the brass quintet of the Ensemble vent et percussion de Québec performs Résonance V at Parc Victoria, 160, rue du Cardinal-Maurice-Roy, in Saint-Roch. The program celebrates nature by blending classical music, jazz, and popular music, featuring trumpet, bugle, French horn, trombone, and tuba. Résonance V is part of Québec animée's "musical ambiance" cultural strolls; the activity is free and takes place rain or shine, unless conditions compromise the safety of the artists or the public (thunderstorms, strong winds, heavy rain). Source: Québec animée, Ville de Québec, consulted September 8, 2026. The other date for the series: Sunday, September 13, at Maison O’Neill (3160, boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel Ouest), also from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Voilà Québec's tip: an hour of brass in a park, without a ticket, fits into a weekend afternoon. For the rest, see our weekend poster and our page on what to do in Quebec City in September.
