Resonance V at Maison O'Neill: Free Brass Concert
Maison O’Neill
On Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., the brass quintet of the Ensemble vent et percussion de Québec will perform Résonance V at Maison O'Neill, 3160, boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel Ouest. The program celebrates nature by blending classical, jazz, and popular music, featuring trumpet, bugle, French horn, trombone, and tuba. Résonance V is part of Québec animée's "musical ambiance" cultural walks; the activity is free and takes place rain or shine, unless conditions compromise the safety of the artists or the public (thunderstorms, strong winds, heavy rain). Source: Québec animée, Ville de Québec, consulted September 8, 2026. Another date in the series: Saturday, September 12 at Parc Victoria (160, rue du Cardinal-Maurice-Roy, Saint-Roch), also from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Voilà Québec's tip: an hour of brass in a park, no ticket required, fits into a weekend afternoon. For the rest, see our weekend poster and our page on what to do in Quebec City in September.
