Festi-apples at the Grand Marché de Québec: apples and ciders from here, September 12 and 13
Le Grand Marché de Québec
On Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Grand Marché de Québec (220, boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel, on the ExpoCité site) is launching the apple season with Festi-pommes. Admission is free. The event is presented by Aliments du Québec, in collaboration with the Producteurs de pommes du Québec, the Cidre du Québec sector, and the Association des marchés publics du Québec (source: lapommeduquebec.ca, consulted on September 11, 2026). On the program: fresh apples from the new harvest, ciders, tastings, contests, surprises, and meetings with producers in the covered market aisles. On Saturday, the Urban Agriculture Education Center is also holding its herbology day at the same location, allowing you to combine both visits under one roof, rain or shine. The Voilà Québec recommendation: the Grand Marché brings together more than a hundred producers and artisans from the region, perfect for completing your basket after the Festi-pommes stalls. Our other ideas for these two days are in what to do in Quebec this weekend, and the rest of the season in autumn in Quebec and what to do in Quebec in September.
