Quebec City, Dream City at Jacques-Cartier Beach Park, Sunday, September 20

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Jacques-Cartier Beach Park, on the riverbank in Sainte-Foy, will host "Québec, ville de rêve" (Quebec City, Dream City). For sixty minutes, an artist will paint a work before the public's eyes, accompanied by musicians, drawing inspiration from the place, the landscape, and the people present. Anyone can lend a hand to the canvas or simply watch it take shape; each performance results in a different creation. The activity is part of the "musical ambiance" cultural walks animated by Québec animée; it is free and takes place rain or shine, unless conditions compromise the safety of artists or the public (thunderstorms, strong winds, heavy rain).
