Québec, ville de rêve at Victoria Park: Live Painting and Music, Saturday, September 26
Parc Victoria
On Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Victoria Park, in Saint-Roch, will host Québec, ville de rêve. For sixty minutes, an artist will paint a work before the public's eyes, accompanied by live music, drawing inspiration from the location, the landscape, and the people present. Anyone can lend a hand on the canvas or simply watch it take shape; each performance results in a different creation. The activity is part of Québec animée's "musical ambiance" cultural strolls; it is free and takes place rain or shine, unless conditions compromise the safety of artists or the public (thunderstorms, strong winds, heavy rain). Source: Québec animée, Ville de Québec, consulted September 11, 2026. Other events in the series: Saturday, September 19 at Armand-Grenier Park, Sunday, September 20 at Jacques-Cartier Beach Park, Sunday, September 27 at Maison O’Neill, always from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Voilà Québec's tip: the same afternoon at 2 p.m., La Fanfare Monfarleau will perform at Armand-Grenier Park, in Beauport, and all weekend long the Journées de la culture offer free access to hundreds of venues in the city. Venue details are in our file for Victoria Park.
