Literary Creation Workshop with Marie-Josée Bastien

Inspired by the theme of intergenerational transmission, this workshop invites participants to reflect on what they wish to pass on to future generations or on the legacy they have received themselves. Everyone is invited to write a memory, a learning, a value, or a meaningful message. The texts are then transcribed onto paper strips that will form a river once assembled, echoing the flow of generations and the continuity of human stories. This collective creation becomes an ephemeral exhibition that highlights the connections, memories, and transmissions that unite people through time. Workshop led by Sebastián Ibarra Gutiérrez and Marie-Josée Bastien, winner of the Une ville, un livre contest with her work Yahndawa’: ce que nous sommes. Presented by Quebec City, UNESCO City of Literature as part of the contest.
