Cinnamon Bread Workshop at the Moulin des Jésuites, Saturday, October 10
Moulin des Jésuites de Charlesbourg
On Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, the Moulin des Jésuites in Charlesbourg offers children aged 6 to 12 a cinnamon bread making workshop: they will learn how flour is made and what the villagers of the Trait-Carré ate in New France times, then they will go up to the third floor of the mill to prepare their bread, to bake at home. Price: $9.20 per participant, reservation required online. The workshop takes place rain or shine (sources: moulindesjesuites.org and Québec animée, consulted on September 7, 2026). The workshop is also offered on Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 17, at the same times. Until October, renovations are underway in the Mill's gardens; parking and neighboring streets remain accessible, according to the Mill. The Voilà Québec council recommendation: the 1740 mill is the starting point for a walk in the Trait-Carré, the historic heart of Charlesbourg.
