CREATIVE Meetings
Centre Jacques-Cartier
The Creative Meetings are an initiative of La Vie comm and Révolution’ Arts. It is an open space where amateur and professional artists can meet, exchange, and develop their artistic practice in a spirit of collaboration and discovery. Organized every other Wednesday, these meetings offer a flexible creative space that can be used for personal or collective work. Participants can pursue their own artistic projects, experiment with new approaches, share their knowledge, or perfect certain techniques with their peers. To promote accessibility and involvement for everyone, creative activities and exercises will also be offered on-site for those who do not have a current project or who simply wish to discover new forms of artistic expression. The main objective is to create an environment conducive to meeting, knowledge sharing, the emergence of artistic collaborations, and the discovery of the arts. These meetings will also allow participants to better understand the programs, activities, and opportunities offered by the CJC. Throughout the year, professional artists will be invited to lead workshops or one-off training sessions according to the interests and needs expressed by the group. With an approach focused on developing agency, participants will be encouraged to propose ideas, take part in decisions, and implement their own initiatives. The Creative Meetings thus aim to be a networking and organizing space where the group can prepare collective projects and plan cultural actions together. Welcome everyone!
