April Hate
La Chapelle Spectacles
April Hate is undoubtedly the most realistic Nirvana tribute band ever encountered! Same equipment, same costumes, and same stage presence. April Hate has existed since 2007, born from the ashes of a musical beginning in 1992. The band today consists of three members, including none other than Christian Poirier, founder, leader, and singer embodying Kurt Cobain. Jonathan Bigras on drums brings unprecedented energy, wonderfully accompanying Stéphanie Lemieux's bass. Since its creation, April Hate has performed several shows throughout Quebec, with the support of Universal Music, Sonic Youth, and Mélissa Auf Der Maur. On September 23, 2011, in Montreal, at a supercharged Théâtre Telus, they launched the commemorative tour for the 20th anniversary of the mythical album Nevermind. This tour ended in a packed Club Soda on March 10, 2012. Since then, the band has added cellist Bruna Wanderley to its performances, adding subtlety to the musical performance. 620 avenue Plante, Quebec (Quebec) Canada G1M 3R5• Monday to Thursday from 3 PM to 6 PM• 60 minutes before shows Prices include taxes and service fees.
