Singing Roots
Bibliothèque Monique-Corriveau
Participate in this series of 8 workshops offering a creative and inclusive space where people from diverse backgrounds and long-rooted Quebecers come together around writing and music. Through the creation of songs or choral singing, these meetings foster dialogue, listening, and connections between participants. Led by professionals, these workshops guide groups in creating original pieces and practicing in choir, thereby strengthening the sense of community and mutual aid. The writing workshops will take place from September 30 to October 28, followed by the choir workshops from November 4 to 25. A final presentation of the project and the choir will take place at the Monique-Corriveau library and will be open to the public. The date will be announced in the coming weeks.
