Discover the lake by boat at the Sainte-Foy outdoor recreation center, October 3 and 4
Base de plein air de Sainte-Foy
On Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Sainte-Foy outdoor recreation center, 3137, rue Laberge, lends its boats on the lake: a free outing to explore the body of water at your own pace, on a quiet stroll or a short crossing, as part of the Ville de Québec's fall programming. The activity takes place rain or shine, unless the weather compromises safety (thunderstorms, strong winds, heavy rain); public parking at the center, boat side (source: Québec animée, Ville de Québec, consulted October 1, 2026). That same weekend, the center hosts outdoor archery and the "Sentiers insolites" sculptures. The weekend outings are gathered in our article "What to do in Quebec City on the weekend: October 2, 3 and 4, 2026", and "What to do for free in Quebec City" lists the free activities.
