Mini Poetry Workshop and Mini-Zine Making
Bibliothèque Gabrielle-Roy
During this mini poetry workshop, we explore the brief form and declutter the poem. Following the formal constraint of haiku or not, the brief form captures a moment, an idea, an emotion to break them down into a series or form a selection. There is everything around to draw inspiration from, or proposals of cut-out words and text squares to cross out to extract poems. The mini poetry workshop perhaps resides in this image: we extract small nuggets to dust off. We make a small collection. The cabinet of curiosities is an 8-page mini-zine to fold together, for the pleasure of the gesture. With Marie-Hélène Sarrazin - Les autres jours Photo for illustrative purposes
