Birdwatching and Urban Hike at Domaine de Maizerets, Saturday, October 3
Domaine de Maizerets
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Domaine de Maizerets, 2000, boulevard Montmorency, in Limoilou, hosts a birdwatching and urban hiking activity offered by the City of Quebec as part of Québec animée, with the Club des ornithologues de Québec. The City presents the domain as one of the best sites in the region for ornithology; the outing continues on the trails of the Saint Charles River linear park, between natural environments and viewpoints. Free, accessible to all, at your own pace. The activity takes place rain or shine, unless the weather compromises public safety (source: Québec animée, City of Quebec, consulted October 2, 2026). Voilà Québec tip: on the same day, Québec animée also offers an introduction to mycology in the forest at the La Découverte outdoor recreation center, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., as well as discovery of the lake by boat and archery at the Sainte-Foy outdoor recreation center. Our page on what to do in Quebec City in October lists the rest of the month's events.
