In October, the cultural sites of Île d'Orléans take on a completely different look at dusk. Storytelling, poetry, macabre tales, and lantern tours make up an original program especially for young people. October 9 and 10 – Nocturnal museum visit by lantern light Explore the R.F. October 16 – Night of poetry and horror readings Poetry, unsettling texts, and a lantern visit of Maison Drouin. 6:30 PM to 8 PM | Free. October 17 – Tales of privateers and pirates Christian Lalonde revives the maritime world through tales and stories, preceded by a visit to Manoir Mauvide-Genest. 2 PM: visit | 3 PM: tales 30 and under: free | 31 and over: $15. October 23 and 24 – Haunted Island Tours A theatrical journey in six scenes mixing disturbing facts, legends, and horror stories, with a finale in the church of Sainte-Famille. 7:30 PM to 9 PM 11 to 30 years old: free | 31 years and over: $15.
