From October 20 to November 7, 2026, Théâtre Périscope, 2, rue Crémazie Est, presents Les distances, by Catalan author Mercè Sarrias, in a translation and staging by Philippe Soldevila. Co-produced by Théâtre Sortie de Secours and Sala Beckett of Barcelona, the play follows a Catalan journalist and asks if it is possible to be there for those we love when thousands of kilometers separate us, in French, Catalan, and Spanish. One hour and forty-five minutes. Performances from Tuesday to Friday at 7:30 PM and Saturday at 4 PM. Tickets from $25 to $50 depending on the chosen rate, at theatreperiscope.qc.ca.
