Lantern Tours of the Citadelle of Quebec, October 30 and 31

On Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, 2026, the Citadelle of Quebec offers its last lantern tours of the season. Departures in French are at 6:30 PM, 7:30 PM, and 8:00 PM, and in English at 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM. With lantern in hand, the guide leads the group through the fortress and museum rooms, between historical accounts and ghost stories. The tour is recommended for ages 11 and up. The ticket costs $30 for an adult, $15 for ages 11-17, and $65 for a family (source: lacitadelle.qc.ca, consulted October 21, 2026). Entry is at 1, côte de la Citadelle. On Halloween night, departures at 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM bring visitors back towards Grande Allée before 10:00 PM.
