On Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM, the Îlot des Palais, at 8, rue Vallière, in the Old Port, opens its vaults at nightfall for a lantern-guided tour. A museum mediator will recount sinister legends, inexplicable tales, and surprising stories of life in New France on the site of the intendant's palaces. Mature audience, ages 12 and up. Price: $10; reservation required, limited spots, via the activity page link. The same tour is offered on Friday, October 30 (source: ilotdespalais.ca, consulted on October 1, 2026).
