Family Tales and Coffee
Bibliothèque Monique-Corriveau
Simple gatherings for parents and their children. These meetings offer a moment of exchange and listening among parents from diverse backgrounds, accompanied by their children aged 0 to 5. Each session begins with a reading stimulation activity (stories, songs, rhymes) for the little ones. Then, a short break is offered to parents: they can chat freely over coffee while the children are looked after by a facilitator. A snack will be served. These moments aim to foster intercultural dialogue, strengthen bonds between neighborhood families, and support the overall development of children in a warm and friendly setting. Led by Hou Mou Guiro, in collaboration with the perinatal reference service for immigrant women in Quebec. This activity is made possible by the financial participation of the Government of Quebec.
