This new and ambitious musical project brings together Alain Caron (bass), John Roney (piano), Louis-Vincent Hamel (drums), and the excellent ESCA Quartet. This collaboration explores a unique sonic palette where the virtuosity of the jazz trio blends with the elegance of the string ensemble. In concert, the audience will appreciate a repertoire shaped by new compositions created specifically for this hybrid formation, along with carefully selected and rearranged pieces from Alain Caron's repertoire to highlight the alliance between jazz improvisation and string writing. The result is a refined and original musical performance that opens a new path in Alain Caron's creative universe.
