No Joy
Scène SiriusXM – Place George-V
No Joy (Jasamine White-Gluz) and Fire-Toolz retreated to wooded locations to create Bugland, a free and limitless album. Drawing from varied influences, it blends shoegaze, experimental textures, and electronic soundscapes, balancing chaos and coherence. Long rural roads shaped the mixes, and tracks like « Jelly Meadow Bright » combine Stooges-esque saxophone with light, floating atmospheres. Resisting any label, Bugland sits between Boards of Canada, Autechre, and Zooropa. The album illustrates White-Gluz's evolution and her ability to transform diverse tastes into an immersive and innovative work.
