When an author and literature professor agrees to have a beer with Canadian soldiers to hear about their experiences in Afghanistan, she doesn't realize it's the beginning of a great adventure. Trust is built, and tongues loosen. The soldiers take us with them into the war zone, sharing their funny, harsh, and touching stories, recounting camaraderie, exploding minefields, fears, and regrets. Their testimonies will shake the playwright to her very core convictions.
