When a writer and literature professor agrees to have a beer with Canadian soldiers to hear about their experiences in Afghanistan, she doesn't realize it's the beginning of a great adventure. Trust is established and tongues loosen. The soldiers take us with them to the war zone, deliver their funny, harsh, and touching stories, talk about camaraderie, exploding minefields, fears, and regrets. Their testimonies will shake the playwright to her very core convictions.
