Auditions des Troupes !
Give your child, aged 8 to 18, the intensity and pleasure of the stage through L’EDQ's Contemporary Dance Troupes! The next auditions for the 2026-2027 season will take place on Saturday, August 29th, and registration is now open! Being part of one of L’EDQ's four dance Troupes means: • Having the chance to belong to a close-knit group of dancers who excel on stage on numerous occasions throughout the year, through shows and competitions; • Dancing 2 to 4 hours per week with motivating and highly qualified teachers; • Developing self-confidence and the ability to express oneself in a safe and stimulating environment; • And much more! This year, give your child the opportunity to flourish and shine within one of L’EDQ's four contemporary dance Troupes by registering them for the upcoming selection auditions on Saturday, August 29, 2026! Audition Schedule Auditions for all four dance Troupes take place on the same day, and children audition by appointment, according to their age group. The auditions consist of a warm-up, a short technical class, and a contemporary choreographic sequence, all led by a Troupe teacher. Dancers audition before a jury composed of teachers from the School, who observe their ability to decode and execute steps with precision, reproduce rhythm, demonstrate autonomy in learning, and showcase their artistic sense.
