Fierté Québec is a festival celebrating sexual diversity and gender plurality that takes place on Labour Day weekend and attracts thousands of people to downtown Quebec City. This celebration is an opportunity for thousands of people to publicly express their values of equality and justice, reaffirm their rights, and allows the population to interact with members of the diversity. Most of the activities take place between Place D’Youville and Rue Saint-Jean, which become the main hubs of activity for Pride.
