Jean-Pierre Ferland, an icon of Quebec song, will forever remain Le Petit Roi (The Little King) for all those who had the chance to hear, feel, and experience his music. As one of the most significant and important singer-songwriters in Quebec's musical and cultural heritage, he leaves behind a rich and timeless body of work. The show "Le Petit Roi pour toujours" (The Little King Forever) pays a sincere and unifying tribute to this pillar of Quebec song, celebrating his unique legacy and addressing all lovers of his music and poetry. About forty hits, bearing witness to over sixty years of creation, will be performed by a remarkable cast composed of Johanne Blouin, Kevin Parent, Marc-André Fortin, Éric Paulhus, and Julie Anne Saumur, who will be accompanied by a chorister who worked alongside Jean-Pierre for a long time, Lynn Jodoin, and by five musicians. Supported by archives and projected images on screen, this show will immerse the audience in the tender universe of an unforgettable artist.
