The Grapes of Wrath
Théâtre du Petit Champlain/Maison de la chanson
Fans of Canadian music from the 80s-90s will remember The Grapes Of Wrath, a flagship band with harmonies inspired by the 60s. Driven by hits like Peace Of Mind, Backward Town, or All The Things I Wasn’t, the band made its mark on the radio and achieved gold and two platinum records. Formed in 1978 by Kevin, Tom, and Chris Hooper, the band rose to prominence between 1984 and 1992 with an EP and four albums, moving from Nettwerk to Capitol/EMI. After a split in 1992, they reunited in the late 90s, and again in 2010. Today, Kevin and Tom offer an intimate acoustic format, revisiting the band's classics, rarer tracks, and some new material, punctuated by anecdotes that delight the audience.
