100 contrefaçons
Grand Théâtre de Québec
An impersonator with a thousand voices and a thousand talents, David Corriveau has accumulated over 35 million views on social media since he was first revealed to the public on Salut Bonjour! in 2021 and then on the show La France a un incroyable talent, where he won Sugar Sammy's golden buzzer to reach the finals. With his first show, 100 contrefaçons, he dives into a repertoire of popular songs from the 1970s to the 2000s. In an intimate and warm atmosphere, he tells us how he managed to go from the family chicken coop in Saint-Boniface-de-Shawinigan to the Place des Arts in Montreal to fulfill his dream of singing on stage like his idols. 100 contrefaçons showcases the prowess of an impersonator with contagious energy who takes genuine pleasure in imitating the artists he admires. You close your eyes and believe you hear Céline Dion, Édith Piaf, Claude Dubois, Laurence Jalbert, Marie Carmen, James Blunt, or Ginette Reno, but when you open them, incredulous, you see only one man before you: David Corriveau. A presentation of the Grand Théâtre de Québec.
