Humor — "It grows like weeds!" My grandmother often said that. I didn't know what Chiendent was. "You have to pull out the weeds before they go to seed!" she'd yell at you in the summer. To be honest, I thought it was some kind of expression that only my grandmother knew the jingle for. I also thought it might be an insult. A mix between "son of a bitch" and "dork". Finally, I learned that Chiendent is just a normal weed that grows pretty much everywhere. Did you know that? There's a lot of weeds in my hour. I have to get rid of them before they go to seed. Then we'll get a better look at the flowers I'm trying to grow! I just hope these flowers don't smell like an old snowbird who perfumes herself with the kits they give away at Christmas, you know, the ones that come with body lotion, perfume, and bath bubbles. Come and smell. Approximate show duration: 15-minute opening act / 90-minute show without intermission.
