Honneur au peuple du Québec
What do Kim Thúy, Benoit Huot, Dany Laferrière, and Régine Laurent have in common? All these individuals have been appointed members of the Ordre national du Québec for their exceptional contributions to the progress and influence of Quebec. The induction into the Ordre national du Québec is an honorary distinction that celebrates the excellence, merit, and commitment of individuals who have remarkably contributed to the advancement of Quebec, in all fields, whether cultural, social, scientific, economic, or entrepreneurial. This year marks the 40th anniversary of this apolitical institution, a symbol of the highest distinction awarded by the Quebec state. For the occasion, the Musée de la civilisation presents inspiring Quebecers, objects that bear witness to their extraordinary journeys, and stories of commitment and achievements that make us proud. A showcase exhibition conceived and produced by the Musée de la civilisation in partnership with the Ordre national du Québec.
